We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team at K&A Engineering in Cary, North Carolina
. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors. You’ll be part of a dynamic, people-focused team where your expertise, ideas, and contributions will be valued and celebrated.

Role Expectations
  • Coordination of day-to-day office matters
  • Organize & Schedule Meetings, Events, and Training
  • Manage vendor and service provider relationships
  • Assist HR/Talent Acquisition with Onboarding new hires
  • Partner with IT on software and equipment needs
  • Prepare and Mail all US/UPS/Fed Ex Packages
  • Prepare & Edit Presentations
  • Maintain office facilities and serve as the point of contact
  • Order Office Supplies & Process Monthly Utility Invoices
  • Assume other responsibilities and tasks as assigned
What We’re Looking For
  • 4+ years of administrative experience
  • Associate's and/or bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Microsoft Office/Suite proficient
  • Solid problem solving and time management skills
  • Exceptional phone etiquette
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
  • A terrific work ethic accompanied by an ever-positive, get-it-done attitude
  • Ability to take on increased responsibilities as the position advances
  • "No job too small" mind‑set is necessary for success
Pay Range: $18.00—$20.00/hr why Join K&A?
