Student Employment - IT Services Reception & Support Assistants
ECU College of Nursing – IT Department is currently seeking several reliable and customer-focused IT Services Reception & Support Assistants. Assistants will provide front-desk support and help manage departmental resources. This role is ideal for students interested in gaining experience in an office environment while supporting faculty, staff, and students in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and assist visitors, directing them to appropriate IT personnel or resources.
- Manage the check-in and check-out of loaner equipment (e.g., laptops, power banks, peripherals).
- Facilitate equipment pickups and returns, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
- Answer phones, receive packages, and handle basic reception tasks.
- Perform other support duties as assigned by the supervisor.
The position is primarily administrative and does not require advanced IT skills.
Qualifications- Availability to work at least one of the following days:
Monday, Thursday, or Friday. - Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to manage routine tasks reliably and follow procedures.
- Familiarity with basic office equipment and technology is helpful, but not required.
