Salary: $39,938.38 – $45,929.75 per year

Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED and two (2) years of clerical, customer service, or office experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Preferred Education:
Associate degree or higher; experience working in a community college setting, especially with allied health programs; familiarity with Colleague/Datatel, NC e‑Procurement, Docusign, or other similar systems.
- Coordinate office activities, manage schedules and communications, maintain records and documentation, and provide direct support to the Dean and departmental leadership.
- Serve as a key point of contact for faculty, staff, students, and external partners, ensuring efficient and timely communication and workflow.
- Make travel arrangements; schedule and coordinate meetings and/or events; transcribe meeting minutes; prepare and review financial and/or statistical reports; plan and coordinate schedules; manage calendars.
- Collect, compile, prepare, review, record paperwork, databases, spreadsheets, applications, forms, reports, and/or confidential information, ensuring completeness and accuracy; maintain related records.
- Perform technical accounting duties, including monitoring budgets, accounts, billings, and/or expenditures.
- Prioritize and assign work to lower‑level staff, monitor their performance, and train staff on work methods and procedures.
- Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to converse professionally, both written and orally, with all levels of the college.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of health care and some medical terminology preferred.
Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
