Job DescriptionWe are seeking a reliable and motivated General Service Technician to join our team. This entry-to-mid-level role is critical to ensuring that our customers receive safe, dependable, and high-quality vehicle service. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities- Perform basic maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, balancing, and flat repairs.
- Inspect and replace filters, bulbs, belts, and other minor components as needed.
- Conduct multi‑point inspections to identify additional maintenance or repair needs.
- Assist with brake, suspension, and alignment services under the direction of senior technicians.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service bay and shop areas.
- Properly document services performed and communicate findings to service advisors or managers.
- Adhere to all company safety standards and procedures.
- Hourly rate of $15‑$17 with annual bonus potential based on performance.

- High School diploma, GED, or technical school graduate or certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of automotive and/or truck systems, tools, and technical resources.
- Understanding and consistent demonstration of proper use of equipment and tools, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Ability to consistently provide exceptional customer service and improve customer service scores.
- G1‑Auto Maintenance & Light Repair preferred.
- State inspection certificate, where applicable.
- AC 609 Certification.
- May experience loud noises and odors intermittently in the shop environment.
- Requires standing, walking, normal physical mobility, including reaching, grabbing, lifting, and carrying automotive parts and equipment up to approximately 80 pounds.
- Must have own tools appropriate for skill level for use in the center.
- Must be able to work in the heat; fans are present in all facilities.
- Must be able to maintain working on your feet in a concrete facility for the entire shift.
Regular and reliable attendance is essential for the function of this job.
