Global Technology Services (GTS) - Enterprise Infrastructure (EI), Security & Architecture - Portfolio Management

The Client's Global Technology Services (GTS), Enterprise Infrastructure and Security Portfolio Management team is growing and requires a Portfolio Manager to support portfolio planning, financial coordination, and administration for multiple IT Domains, including:
Engineering, Service Operations, Global Infrastructure, Application Support & Maintenance, IT Risk and Security, Enterprise Architecture, and Corporate Real Estate. The ideal candidate for this position will manage portfolio pipeline planning and Project Approval Requests (PAR) key information and administer critical information for senior leadership, key stakeholders, and Program and Project Managers. The role will oversee assigned portfolios and provide leadership and consulting services related to portfolio performance and health metrics and analysis.

As a portfolio & PMO team member, they will coordinate key portfolio processes and administer change and communications required for managing effective leadership and stakeholder expectations and business outcomes.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support Annual Planning and Portfolio "Reinvest" Coordination
  • Administer set up and track all approved GTS EI PARs for labor, direct expense, and other expense codes to improve project accounting budget, actuals, and forecast capabilities
  • Work with IT Domain sponsors, Portfolio Managers, and Financial Consultants to support portfolio PAR administration, support, and consulting
  • Create and refresh PMO job aids to reduce rework and duplication, reduce time for PAR administration, and simplify access to key portfolio and project materials
  • Support Portfolio Management data entries and updates required for infrastructure and architecture programs and projects.
  • Administer, review, analyze and provide consulting services with key portfolio reports for IT domain stakeholders and leadership, and expand reporting features
  • Assist Non-Project Renewal /Deal tracking and assist with improving Renewal reporting capabilities
  • Support Business Sponsor portfolio planning intake meetings
  • Coordinate and lead Monthly Portfolio Reviews and executive approval processes in leadership forums
  • Organize/Streamline PAR approval workflows and communications

Key Competencies &

Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Strong relationship management, communications and change management experience
  • 3+ years in a Portfolio Management, Portfolio Coordinator, Portfolio Financial analyst, or related experiences
  • Financial acumen and understanding of GAAP
  • Ability to execute effective change management and communications
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and transparently and work as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail as well as simplifying portfolio data for data-driven decision making
  • Understanding of portfolio, program, and project management and agile methodologies
