Senior Product Commercialization Specialist (Migration & Legacy Products) – Hybrid, Cary, North Carolina or Glasgow, Scotland or Remote (EST time zone)

The Product Commercialization Specialist maximizes revenue, adoption, and utilization of industry-focused technology offerings. Responsibilities include market assessment, strategy recommendation, positioning, pricing, and launch of key products and features across existing and emerging markets.

The role focuses on existing and emerging markets, portfolio acquisitions, and multiple complex product lines. The specialist leads vision, strategy, and cross‑functional alignment to enable R&D teams to target high‑value opportunities.

• Develop and refine the vision and strategy for assigned industry over the next three years.
• Partner with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Industry Leads to exceed commercial goals.
• Serve as primary product contact for Sales and Marketing and represent R&D on cross‑functional teams.
• Provide market intelligence on customers, evaluators, and competitors to inform strategy.
• Deliver analysis for quarterly business reviews covering financial health, competition, and value creation opportunities.
• Create an ideation pipeline of new offerings; lead product acquisition due diligence and gap analysis for M&A and partnerships.
• Prioritize key opportunities with product management and engineering to maximize value.
• Lead packaging and pricing strategy; contribute to migration planning of legacy products.
• Evangelize product differentiation through marketing, industry analysts, and advisory boards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Eight years of relevant experience, including 6+ years in tech solutioning, product management, product strategy, or product marketing overseeing complex B2B product portfolios; 3+ years with enterprise analytics and data enablement, preferably with SAS.
• Domain/market understanding of industry and software development lifecycle, including on‑premise and SaaS delivery models.
• Track record of developing and executing product sunset and migration strategies that deliver measurable value and exceed revenue retention targets.
• Strong experience in discovery, market research, articulating business value, and investment decisioning.
• Proven ability to build cross‑functional partnerships to achieve migration targets.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.
