Your ImpactWe’re looking for an experienced and collaborative General Superintendent in Wilson/Cary, NC who thrives when people are in sync and construction projects are running like they should. You’ll take the lead on daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site, and ensure the right materials, equipment and people are there to get the job done. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well‑being of your team and our planet.
As a passionate leader, you’ll leverage your people‑management skills to help your team members discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose and guiding them forward.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
- At least 8 years of construction site experience
- At least 8 years of experience as a general foreman, superintendent, and/or construction manager
- Experience with HVAC, Mechanical, Piping, Plumbing, and Electrical
- Collaborating in planning, design, construction and commissioning
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in use of software such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Bluebeam
- Facilitate and coordinate walk‑downs and meetings and/or reviews with owner and designers
- Attend constructability reviews
- Safety leader (JHA’s revision / daily signed‑off permits)
Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs workplace on a full‑time basis, as required by the nature of their role.

The base salary range for this position is $92,000.00 to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
