Key Responsibilities
* Operate a motor grader (Cat 672 or similar) for fine grading, road construction, and subgrade preparation
* Utilize GPS/grade control systems to maintain accurate elevation and alignment
* Read and interpret digital plans and site models
* Perform daily equipment inspections (pre- and post-shift)
* Coordinate with surveyors and crew to ensure grade accuracy
* Maintain proper blade control for smooth, uniform surfaces
* Follow all safety procedures and jobsite protocols
* Report equipment issues promptly
* Maintain production efficiency while minimizing rework# Qualifications
* 3+ years experience operating a motor grader
* Experience with GPS systems (Trimble, Topcon, Leica, etc.)
* Ability to read grade stakes and plans
* Understanding of grading principles
