Site Manager, Construction Manager/ Foreman
Jacobs is seeking an experienced and collaborative Piping Construction Superintendent for its Cary/Clayton, NC site. The role involves leading daily scheduling and planning, ensuring that the right materials, equipment, and personnel are on hand to execute projects safely and on schedule.
Responsibilities- Lead daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site.
- Ensure the right materials, equipment, and people are in place to achieve project objectives.
- Manage subcontractors to maintain schedule alignment and uphold quality expectations.
- Conduct, audit, and enforce site safety protocols.
- Track progress and manpower, and provide feedback to project management on field construction activities to forecast schedule impacts and resolve field issues.
- Facilitate and coordinate walkdowns, meetings, and reviews with owners and designers.
- Attend constructability reviews and serve as a safety leader (JHA revision / daily signed‑off permits).
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent; or equivalent years of experience.
- At least 8 years of construction site experience, including experience as a general foreman, superintendent, and/or construction manager.
- Strong background in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or GMP‑regulated construction environments.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and 3D models.
- Experience managing subcontractors to maintain schedule alignment and quality expectations.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Bluebeam.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Collaboration experience in planning, design, construction, and commissioning.
- Experience facilitating and coordinating walkdowns and meetings with owners and designers.
- Ability to act as a safety leader (JHA revisions, daily signed‑off permits).

Base salary range: $92,000.00 to $. Salary is determined by work location and additional factors such as job‑related skills, experience, and education.
Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs workplace on a full‑time basis, as required by the nature of their role.
