• Salary: $120,000 - $145,000 DOE
We are seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction Superintendent with 15+ years of experience in the water/wastewater pipeline and treatment plant industry, working as a superintendent for a general contractor that specializes in self‑performed water/wastewater infrastructure construction. Candidates should have no more than 3 job changes in the last 10 years.
Major Responsibilities- Responsible for overall project planning and execution.
- Managing the schedule and the major risks encountered in the field.
- Typical self‑perform scopes of work include underground pipe, formwork, cast‑in‑place concrete, earthwork, and mechanical/process equipment installation.
- Oversee and manage Project Superintendents on various projects.
- Prepare 3‑week look‑aheads.
- Monitor labor productivities.
- Plan work activities.
- Lead and develop teams of tradesmen.
- 10-15+ years of experience in water/wastewater pipeline and treatment plants, industrial, and/or heavy civil construction.
- Experience as Superintendent on $30M – $100M treatment plants.
- Proven track record in scheduling, risk management, and field operations for large‑scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Strength to lift up to 35 pounds on average and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Arm, hand, and finger dexterity with good eyesight.
- Ability to navigate through the work site on a daily basis.
- Occasional climbing of ladders, scaffolding, and stairs.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures, confined spaces, high places, excavated areas, and near chemicals, grinding, torching, or cranes.
- Comfortable working close to other people.

Compensation for the Water/Wastewater Construction Superintendent ranges from $120,000 to $145,000 DOE, plus discretionary annual bonus and full medical coverage.
