Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Cary, NC, supporting industrial construction projects with a focus on Life Sciences facilities. This role is ideal for a construction professional who can manage project planning, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, cost controls, safety, quality, and closeout with confidence.
This is an opportunity to join a growing construction organization known for collaborative teamwork, strong project leadership, and a dynamic work environment. The Project Manager will work closely with clients, engineers, consultants, contractors, accounting teams, and operations personnel to deliver complex projects successfully. Candidates who enjoy ownership, problem-solving, relationship-building, and working with a diverse project team will be well aligned with this role.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, buy-out, subcontractor assignments, scheduling, and day-to-day project coordination.
- Manage project financial performance, including project P&L, weekly actual costs, monthly client billing, and change order documentation.
- Maintain project files and documentation in Procore, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, reports, closeout documents, and required compliance records.
- Support safety, quality assurance, and quality control through regular job site walks, schedule tracking, and coordination with field supervision.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, engineers, subcontractors, professional associations, and regional industry contacts.
- Prepare Davis-Bacon wage reports, LEED reporting, closeout documentation, and lessons learned analysis at project completion.
- Salary range: $80,000 to $95,000 per year.
