Job DescriptionAddison Group is seeking a versatile Freelance Video Assistant to support a production team on a project basis. This individual will assist across all phases of video production, including pre‑production setup, on‑set support, and post‑production tasks. The ideal candidate is adaptable, technically capable, and willing to jump in wherever needed. While this person does not need to be the expert, they should be comfortable taking direction and working collaboratively.

Our client is a leading organization with an in‑house creative and production team supporting internal and external media initiatives. They value collaboration, flexibility, and high‑quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with transporting, setting up, and breaking down video, audio, and lighting equipment
- Operate cameras and audio equipment under the direction of senior team members
- Capture clean audio and troubleshoot technical issues on set
- Support live events, client shoots, and on‑location productions
- Organize and archive project files and footage
- Collaborate with team members using project management tools
- Ensure deliverables meet brand and quality standards on tight deadlines
- Assist with administrative tasks, including travel coordination and light social media support
- Proficiency with video, audio, and lighting equipment
- Familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
- Experience with editing workflows, color correction, and basic motion graphics preferred
- Comfortable using computers and standard software;
Adobe Creative Suite, Lightroom, or Capture One experience is a plus - Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs and environments
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
