Service Advisor – Jaguar Land Rover-Cary
The Service Advisor is responsible for serving as a liaison between the Service Department technicians and the parts department while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:
- Meet & greet customers with courtesy and efficiency.
- Determine the appropriate course of action and obtain customer authorization.
- Write up service needs and give customers an accurate estimate for cost and completion time.
- Communicate effectively with customers to achieve satisfactory repairs and promote sale of necessary repair or maintenance services.
- Understand and explain warranty and service/insurance policies.
- Keep customers informed and advise them of the prognosis of their vehicle.
- Call customers to set appointments and answer telephones in a timely manner.
- Attend and complete required training and department meetings.
- High School Diploma and one year of related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current valid driver’s license.
- Good reading, writing and math skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work retail hours.
- Computer proficiency.
