Position Summary

The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) invites applications for a fellowship-trained Cerebrovascular Neurosurgeon to join our growing multidisciplinary program. The successful candidate will join a dynamic academic environment comprising 12 neurosurgeons with expertise across subspecialties, supported by robust clinical, research, and educational infrastructure within the UNC School of Medicine and UNC Health.

The ideal candidate will join a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary cerebrovascular team and contribute significantly to the continued development of UNC’s endovascular program and comprehensive stroke center. This role is predominantly endovascular, with most of the clinical practice focused on vascular pathologies but also including the emerging applications and therapies in functional, oncology, CSF physiology and beyond. The candidate will also participate in open cerebrovascular practice.

Services

Our neurosurgery services include treatment for aneurysms and cerebrovascular disease, brain tumor treatment, epilepsy and functional neurosurgery, spine and head trauma, hydrocephalus, pituitary and skull base surgery, spinal neurosurgery, pediatric and fetal neurosurgery.
