Felbry College School of Nursing is currently looking for General Education Adjunct Faculty who have at least a Master’s Degree or Doctorate required in the following fields (e.g., Pharmacology). Faculty must have at least 18 graduate semester credit hours or equivalent in the subject area, and a minimum of three years of occupational experience in the subject field or in a closely related field.

Job Summary:
Responsible for conducting didactic instruction for students. Provides students instruction in theory, laboratory, and professionalism necessary for licensure.
Job Responsibilities (includes but are not limited to)- Responsible for teaching and evaluating each student’s achievement and progress.
- Organizes, implements, and revises curriculum materials to comply with the College’s program standards.
- Creates instructional support materials utilizing appropriate support staff.
- Administers required Success test as required.
- Contributes to the educational growth of the student through informal methods (e.g., informal counseling and/or advising, casual conversation, office hours).
- Works cooperatively with other faculty to meet student needs and accomplish the goals of the program.
- Assists in maintaining a program that complies with requirements of the Ohio Board of Nursing and any other accrediting body.
- Completes school reports; participates in faculty meetings.
- Perform other tasks and assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Graduate from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or CHEA.
- Possesses three (3) years of occupational experience in the subject field in which they teach; OR
- Minimum of four (4) years of job‑related training and experience, as described above for those instructors not graduates from an accredited program in the field in which they teach.
- Instructors must have at least 18 semester credit hours or equivalent in the subject area.
