A welcoming and inclusiveprimary school in Halsteadis seeking a dedicatedTeachingAssistant (TA)to join their team this September. This rewarding role involves providing1:1 and small group supportfor pupils with a range ofSEND needs, includingASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH.
Key Responsibilities:Provide tailored1:1 and small group supportwithin the classroom
Support pupils with theiracademic, social, and emotional development
Adapt learning materials and approaches to meet individual needs
Work collaboratively withclass teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all pupils
What We’re Looking For:Experience working with children withSENDin aprimary school setting
A calm, patient, and nurturing approach to support learning and behaviour
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A validEnhanced DBSon the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
