Position Summary

Part‑time instructional position in South Academics English, Communication. The role supports diverse 21st‑century learners, emphasizing student success and persistence.

Facilitate learning for a diverse student body, helping under‑prepared students achieve academic success. Employ technology and educational media to support 21st‑century literacy skills. Provide required office hours; some classes may require evening or weekend hours.

• Master’s degree in Spanish or equivalent (minimum 18 graduate credit hours in Spanish). Ph.D. preferred.
• Mastery of discipline.
• Deep commitment to the college mission of fostering student success, achievement, and persistence.
• Technology competencies and teaching/counseling skills that facilitate contemporary literacies.
• Experience using various educational technological mediums.
• Prior college teaching experience preferred.
• High computer literacy.
