NC PreK Assistant Teacher -- Southport, North Carolina
Role and ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking passionate educators to assist the NC Pre-K Lead Teacher in overseeing classroom activities, adhering to standards set by the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education, and aligning with the objectives of the current NC Pre-K Curriculum. In this supportive role, you will contribute to creating a nurturing and positive atmosphere for children and their families, helping to forge strong, supportive relationships.
Your involvement will be crucial in assisting with the planning and implementation of learning experiences that promote various developmental domains, such as physical health, social-emotional growth, cognitive abilities, and creative expression. You will also play a key role in observing and assessing the children’s development, aiding in the customization of the curriculum to meet the unique needs of each child.

Pay: 16-19 per hour, based on experience and education.
