Tutor Position at Cary Sylvan Center

No lesson planning. No preparation. No parent meetings. No paperwork. No billing or collections. We do all of that!!! Your only job is to teach!!!

$15-$16 per hour for Reading/Writing/Study Skills/basic Math tutors

$17 - $20 per hour for Math tutors of high school math

As an instructor at Sylvan, your only responsibility is to teach.

As a part-time Sylvan Instructor (flexible hours ranging from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm on at least 2 days), you will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach in a small group, 3:1 setting.

You will become Sylvan certified and will provide personalized instruction in subjects such as Reading, Writing, Math, Study Skills, SAT/ACT prep and State exams to students of all levels. If you aspire to inspire, then we want you on our team.

Previous teaching or tutoring experience
