Position

Purpose:

Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to plan, instruct, and organize instructional environments which help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their educational and social development. Employee may coordinate and direct the activities of regular education and exceptional children teacher as it relates to deaf and hard of hearing students.
FOCUS ON MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL AGED STUDENTS
Minimum Degree Level
:
Bachelor's Degree ( for more info about Master's pay )
Alternative Licensed Pathways: If you are offered a position with BCS, our licensure specialist can share information on the 1-year Emergency License and later work with you to convert this to a Residency License.

Qualifications:

  • 18 semester hours of relevant coursework
  • 2.7 GPA (undergraduate coursework or post-graduate coursework)
  • Ability to produce an official, degree dated transcript from an accredited university
  • Former Lateral Entry license candidates are eligible to apply
