The Imaging Engineer Trainee is an entry-level developmental role designed to prepare candidates for advancement into a Customer Service Engineer position. This structured training program focuses on building foundational technical and interpersonal skills, safety awareness, and professional competencies through hands-on experience, guided field exposure, and formal training. Successful completion of the program—along with demonstrated readiness and leadership approval—will lead to eligibility for transition into a Customer Service Engineer role.

The Imaging Engineer Trainee is an entry-level developmental role designed to prepare candidates for advancement into a Customer Service Engineer position. This structured training program focuses on building foundational technical and interpersonal skills, safety awareness, and professional competencies through hands-on experience, guided field exposure, and formal training. Successful completion of the program—along with demonstrated readiness and leadership approval—will lead to eligibility for transition into a Customer Service Engineer role.
** Some things to know:
*** Temporary housing and/or Stipend will be offered during training program
* ** Company vehicle will be provided while in Cary, NC
*** The intention of this program is to develop early-career service professionals to join our organization and grow their careers with us.
** Compensation**:
During the 15 week program, you will be paid $1,925 Bi-Weekly
** Key Responsibilities*
* • Complete onboarding, compliance, safety, and technical training
• Assist Customer Service Engineers with service preparation, tools, and documentation
• Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Meet developmental milestones and performance expectations
• Develop communication and customer interaction skills
• Observe field service activities to build technical knowledge
• Maintain awareness of equipment control and handling
• Demonstrate readiness for transition to Customer Service Engineer Role
• Relocate as required for business needs
** Minimum Requirements
*** High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Valid driver's license & eligible to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
* Willing to move to Cary, NC for Medical Imaging Service Academy
* Must be open to company sponsored relocation and placement in a service region/territory anywhere in the U.S. after program completion for Customer Service Engineer I position
** Physical Requirements*
* • Lift up to 50 lbs
• Walk, stand, sit, bend, twist, squat
• Climb ladders or stepstools
• Perform fine manipulation tasks
• Work independently in field environments
** Preferred Qualifications*
* • Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering experience
• Prior technical or hands-on experience
