I need an engineer to certify my DIY RV Shelter design. The structure is 16'Wx40'Lx14'2"H. Posts are spaced 8' OC and are 3-ply 2x6. They are connected to the footers (24"x24"x8" with 12" sonatube pier) with Sturdi Wall SWP
63 anchors. The top girts are 2-2x12. The trusses are fink trusses spaced 4' OC. They have 2x8 bottom chords, 2x6 top chords and 2x4 webbing joined with 1/2" plywood gusset plates. The roof is metal with an OSB subroof. Trusses are attached to top girts with structural screws and truss hangers. See attached drawing. I have detailed drawings in Sketch Up.
The job site is in the Coastal Plain of North Carolina and needs to meet a 140 mph wind standard.
