Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role, located in Cary, NC, for a Civil Engineer. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing civil engineering projects, including stormwater management systems, site grading, and utility design. The role also involves preparing cost estimates, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, adhering to regulatory standards, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects from conception to construction.

Effective communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders will be a key part of the role.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design, with experience developing site plans and infrastructure layouts
  • Strong understanding of Civil Engineering principles and methods, including problem‑solving skills
  • Experience in planning and coordinating engineering projects to meet client needs and timelines
  • Knowledge of stormwater management systems and related environmental considerations
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including clients and consultants
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required; professional licensure (EIT/PE) is preferred
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects effectively
