Key Account Manager

Overview

Solenis is a leading global provider of water and hygiene solutions, offering a broad array of water treatment chemistries, process aids, functional additives, cleaners, disinfectants, and advanced monitoring, control, and delivery systems.

• Grow and maintain customer accounts in the pulp and paper industry, including team management, customer communication, opportunity discovery, trial planning, and trial execution.
• Lead daily management of safety, quality, delivery, and inventory of applications near Richmond, VA.
• Ensure safe and effective treatment programs by performing standard work, generating weekly and monthly reports, maintaining inventory, ordering materials, and keeping equipment uptime.
• Analyze program performance data, assist with customer technical issues, and collaborate with area and district managers to develop corrective action plans.
• Build strong customer relationships and pursue growth and swap opportunities to maximize customer value.
• Support application equipment from design through end of life.
• Participate in technical training opportunities to advance skills and knowledge.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical and Paper strongly preferred).
• 5 years of operational integration experience in the pulp mill industry strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
• Ability to build client relationships easily.
• Documented results using a consultive sales process and the ability to convey product value as a financial payback for the customer.
• High-level organizational skills for maintaining sales of a complex product portfolio.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience solving complex, non‑routine technical problems.
• Project management experience on complex projects.
• Ability to learn new concepts and technology and apply them.
• Capability to work autonomously and coach indirect reports.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry 50 pounds.

Expected compensation range: $80,730.00 to $ plus discretionary bonuses.
