Entry-Level Civil​/Water Resources Engineer

Mead & Hunt is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Transportation team as an Entry Level Civil/Water Resources Engineer in our Raleigh, NC, Myrtle Beach, SC, North Charleston, SC, or Lexington, SC office locations.

• Assisting with the design of water/wastewater and other civil engineering projects
• Evaluating and analyzing existing projects
• Coordinating with multiple utility owners, SCDOT, NCDOT, municipalities and regulatory agencies
• Preparing or modifying reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits, and designs for projects
• Preparing design computations and quantity estimates
• Developing construction cost estimates for projects within the department

A valid driver’s license and some travel will be required.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, water resources engineering or similar discipline from an accredited college or university or the ability to obtain within six months of hire.

• AutoCAD Civil 3D or Micro Station software experience
• Utility coordination/relocation design experience
• Municipal/Water Resources engineering experience
• EIT certification
