As a Senior Mechanical Quality Manager, you will play a vital role in projects that support the core of our clients' operations. This position is based in Raleigh, NC, and offers the opportunity to work on state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Effectively communicate field quality issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractor quality plans and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Lead on‑site contractor quality audits and assessments at fabrication facilities.
  • Ensure understanding and compliance of ITPs and Test Packs by the contractor and construction management team.
  • Assist in the development of Construction Turn Over Package requirements.
  • Provide on‑site support and visually inspect materials at receipt and prior to installation.
  • Ensure Nonconformities are documented in Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and that approved corrective actions are implemented promptly.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Industrial Construction, with a focus on quality assurance and control.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to read and comprehend engineering specifications, documents, and drawings.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a forward‑thinking mindset.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • A desire to learn quickly and enhance your skills.
  • Experience working in diverse, multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Adaptability in various work environments.
  • Background in Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical construction.
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, or equivalent experience.
  • Certification in relevant technical training is a plus.
