Full-time | Exempt## About the Role Voltage is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and detail mechanical systems, components, and assemblies using CAD software. You’ll play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations, improving design efficiency, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure high-quality, compliant engineering solutions## What You’ll Do
* Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design standards.
* Review specifications, sketches, and engineering concepts to determine design feasibility and requirements.
* Update and revise designs to correct issues or incorporate improvements.
* Perform mechanical calculations and basic analyses to validate designs and ensure performance.
* Support prototype creation, testing, and verification to confirm manufacturability and functionality.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate materials, tolerances, and mechanical performance.
* Work with manufacturing teams to resolve design issues and improve processes.
* Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost efficiency, and assembly requirements.
* Provide technical support during fabrication, assembly, and installation.
* Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including drawings and engineering change records.
* Ensure revision control accuracy and compliance with documentation standards.
* Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into updated models and drawings.## What We’re Looking For
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
* 0–2 years of relevant experience.
* Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD, CATIA).
* Understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
