Job Overview
At Jacobs, we challenge the status quo and solve critical problems for thriving cities, resilient environments, and mission‑critical outcomes. We are seeking a Planner / Scheduler in the Cary/Wilson, NC area to support our Project Management Team in the Cincinnati project support area.
Responsibilities- Interact with engineering and construction teams to understand and communicate issues and conflicts that impact the schedule.
- Analyze CPM schedules and recommend work‑arounds and schedule improvements.
- Support project scheduling activities and maintain accurate schedule data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of planning/scheduling experience.
- Good understanding of engineering processes, procedures, and deliverables.
- Experience working with Primavera (P6) scheduling tool.
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Understanding of procurement and construction sequencing.
- Ability to develop cost and schedule analysis presentations, both graphically and verbally.
- Strong communication skills and understanding of technical terminology.
- Experience with MS Project scheduling software.
- Knowledge or experience with Interactive Planning (IAP) sessions and virtual tools.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $69,500 to $115,000 based on location and experience.
