We are recruiting a Senior Project Manager for the growing Nuclear Division. The role will be based in the Southeast U.S., in Chattanooga or Charlotte.
Our Nuclear Division extends the service life of the nation's largest source of clean, carbon‑free energy, covering all 50 states.
Responsibilities- Manage self‑performed complex repair and restoration projects at nuclear sites.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts, working with internal contracts teams.
- Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with field leadership.
- Maintain profit & loss responsibility and other project financials.
- Provide strong leadership, mentorship and supervision to Project Managers, Field Managers, Project Engineers and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with in‑house estimators and sales teams to review bids and develop proposals.
- Evaluate risk and loss exposure on projects.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Demonstrate dedication to safety and quality control on all projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.
- 10–17 years of experience in the nuclear, industrial construction, or restoration industry.
- Prior experience in the nuclear industry, preferably on infrastructure or safety‑related projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage construction projects up to approximately $5 million–$15 million contract value.
- Experience in general repair projects, including concrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, corrosion control.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project‑management/forecasting tools.
- Strong leadership skills to train and mentor others.
