Project Manager Civil

Overview

We are working with a growing real estate development company that is looking to add a Civil PM to its in-house engineering team. The company focuses on residential development projects in the region and has a strong backlog of work as they continue to grow. This position is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make the move to the developer side and expand their career and knowledge in the land development sector.

This position will be hybrid and will be required to be in the office 2-3 days a week.

Since they are a developer, you don’t have to worry about juggling multiple clients and demanding timelines, as everything is done in-house!

* This is a direct placement role. You would be 100% employed by the firm at zero cost to you!

• Collaborate with VP, Developer, and Stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timeline.
• Responsible for the management of projects, junior staff, and CAD staff
• Assist with construction observation related duties such as site visits, field reports, and assistance with completion contractor RFIs.
• Check the accuracy of the design products, drawings, and ensure they are in compliance with the local standards.
• Lead design projects from start to finish using various software such as AutoCAD C3D, HydroCAD, Hydro Flow, and similar

• 4-10+ years of experience in land development design
• Experience with residential land development projects is needed
• Experience with grading, erosion control, phasing, environmental, stormwater, water, wastewater, site design, zoning analysis and roadway plans
