Cadence Design Systems seeks a Senior Principal Hardware Engineer in the US to drive physical design from synthesis to tape-out, including floor planning, clock construction, placement, routing and signoff. You will work with RTL/DFT/Architecture teams to ensure robust tape-out-ready designs.
The role requires 8–15+ years in physical design, strong scripting skills (Python, TCL, PERL), and excellent communication. Offices in San Jose, CA or Raleigh, NC with Cadence tool and flow improvements.
