Overview Of The Manager, Operations And CollectionsThe Manager, Operations and Collections will provide leadership for the team and organization. They are responsible for oversight and completion of the daily activities within the team in the ICT Team. This person will be:
Duties And Responsibilities- Accountable for ensuring timely and accurate completion of the department’s tasks (Collections, Proxy Support, Disclosure/NOBO processing).
- Interact with clients to assist with queries related to invoices and payments.
- Coordinate with finance to reconcile payment discrepancies.
- Manage escalations with department leaders related to invoice challenges.
- Support Proxy team for material requests, inventory maintenance tasks.
- Ensure completion of NPI data based requests of Shareholder Disclosure files and Nobo Files.
- Accountable for the department’s SLA performance.
- Accountable for ensuring all procedures and processes meet global regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for training, mentoring, and assessing staff performance.
- 6+ years of relevant experience with essential managerial competencies preferably within the financial services industry.
- Solid understanding of financial services operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Visio, as well as familiarity with SQL.
- Experience working with Net Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proven daily communication and interaction skills with clients, operations teams, industry peers, and external partners.
- Ability to effectively manage staff workload, priorities, and seasonal fluctuations.
- Forward‑thinking approach with the ability to anticipate departmental needs and identify opportunities to enhance processes and data collection.
- Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Solid research and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to build, motivate, and support teams.
