Client Service Associate – Columbus OH

Our client is seeking a Client Service Associate to assist their Sr. Advisors. This role values collaboration and great communication, creative problem‑solving, passion for learning and offers autonomy for motivated individuals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Communication with clients via telephone, email, and in-person to address their needs, answering their questions and concerns in a timely, informative, and professional manner.
  • Develop expertise in account opening, money movement, account linking, investment strategy implementation, and other client service‑related tasks.
  • Perform basic administrative and clerical duties, including compiling and updating necessary documents, organizing portfolio reviews, obtaining and processing all client information, and updating the CRM.
  • Onboard and prioritize new clients.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of the products and services offered.
  • Ensure compliance with specifications and regulations and work according to set standards and operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teammates, third‑party resource partners, and custodians for efficient and thorough client planning.
  • Seek assistance and report challenges to upper management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years in financial services, preferably in Private Client Wealth Management, and/or RIA firms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in financial services, and/or relevant field.
  • Previous experience with Schwab or Fidelity is required.
  • Desire to work in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial, team‑focused, and results‑oriented environment.
  • Experience in a client‑facing role, proficiency with onboarding new relationships, and ongoing servicing of client relationships a plus.
  • Strong orientation to technology with the ability to learn quickly and work with various platforms.
  • Detail‑oriented and sound organizational skills, with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and directly with other members to support Senior Advisors and focus on the growth of the business and results for the clients.
