Auditor II

As part of Internal Audit at Met Life, you’ll play a critical role protecting Met Life and its stakeholders by delivering both independent, risk-based, and objective assurance through audit execution and providing advice and insights through strategic advisory engagements. Collaborating across the company, you’ll use your strategic problem-solving skills, consulting expertise, and ethical standards to support the company’s growth strategy. An Auditor II will support the execution of risk-based internal audits across Met Life businesses and functions, specifically Met Life Holdings and Global Marketing and Communications. The role is responsible for evaluating the design and effectiveness of controls, identifying and assessing risks, performing audit testing, and developing clear, well-supported conclusions. • Execute internal audit engagements and support overall audit objectives.
• Prepare high-quality, review-ready audit documentation that supports conclusions.
• Meet project deadlines and assist Audit Leads with assigned tasks.
• Leverage data analytics and AI tools to improve audit efficiency and insights.
• Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and ongoing professional development.

• 1-5 years of audit experience or relevant business experience
• Understands Generally Accepted Audit Standards, sampling and testing methodologies, and risk management

• Effectively communicates with audit team and stakeholders
• Analytics skills, problem solving, and sound business judgement
• Basic to intermediate understanding of current and emerging trends and risks

Location Expectation:
This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.

The expected salary range for this position is $54,100 - $72,100. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
