Role Overview
The Medical Affairs Specialist is a manager level role, responsible for supporting the development and execution of clinical training and customer support across Rohrer Aesthetics’ ecosystem. This role ensures that clinical education is delivered consistently, compliantly, and at scale driving strong customer outcomes, supporting commercial success, and reinforcing Rohrer’s reputation as a trusted partner in aesthetic medicine. This leader will serve as a strong partner to Rohrer’s sales team and a trusted leader within the Rohrer clinical team.
Responsibilities:
Medical Affairs:
- Support the development and governance of clinical education content, protocols, and best-practice guidelines.
- Ensure consistent clinical onboarding education for internal teams, including sales and customer-facing roles.
- Assist in CE Oversight: i.e., competency, in-service observations, ensure consistency/compliance with current protocols.
- Serve as the primary clinical liason for adverse event intake and documentation, coordinating cross functionally to ensure proper evaluation, response, and closure in accordance with internal compliance stnadards.
- Manage incoming clinical calls/voicemails to assure appropriate parties are connected and customer inquires are sufficiently responded to in a timely manner.
- Contribute to structured evidence development intitatives including literature review, clinical observations, and support of white paper development aligned with regulatory guidance.
- Support evaluation and structured rollout of new applications for existing technologies within approved regulatory frameworks.
Clinical Training and Support:
- Lead and execute clinical training across multiple states, overseeing equipment installations, customer onboarding, and provider training.
- Provide on-site and remote clinical application support to physicians, nurses, and aesthetic providers to ensure safe, effective, and compliant use of capital medical devices.
- Design and implement structured training programs, workshops, and onboarding curricula for new customers and internal teams.
- Serve as a key presenter at Rohrer Sales and Clinical events.
Includes in-person Rohrer Sales events and virtual trainings. - Development of teaching tools:
Training decks, Pre/Post Visit Materials, Additional additive content – i.e. “Indications Book” that guides device treatment utilization
Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to manage sensitive clinical situations with professionalism and composure
- Strong understanding of clinical document ion standards and compliance sensitive enviroments
Education and Experience:
- Degree in healthcare required Heatlcare degree (RN,NP, PA, DNP,MD)
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, ideally within aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or related specialties.
- Experience working with capital medical equipment or energy based devices
Physical Requirements:
- Travel commitments on average at 4 trainings/events per month – i.e. Pop Ups, BOAT, regular install trainings, retraining (especially related to AE event follow-ups)
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
