Are you currently enrolled in a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program and looking to gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic healthcare setting? Wake Med Health & Hospitals is excited to offer an opportunity for passionate students to join our team as Ultrasound Student Scholars — where learning meets purpose and excellence is the standard.
What You’ll Be Doing:As an Ultrasound Scholar, you’ll work side‑by‑side with our experienced Registered Sonographers, learning to operate ultrasound equipment and capture high‑quality images of various parts of the body. You’ll also assist with supportive tasks that help ensure smooth and safe procedures for our patients.
This is a pre‑graduate role designed to help you build confidence, sharpen your skills, and prepare for a successful career in medical imaging — all while being part of a team that lives the Wake Way every day.
What You’ll Need:- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Currently Enrolled in an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
