Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Certification Requirements: National & NC RRT certification, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Advanced NRP certifications.
  • Experience Requirements: 2–3+ years of RRT experience;
    Level 1 Trauma experience required;
    Previous travel experience preferred.
  • Other Requirements: Strong charting skills (Epic preferred), resilience, adaptability, excellent communication skills, and social aptitude for team collaboration.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized respiratory care to neonatal patients in the NICU, ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for critical neonatal cases.
  • Monitor and document patient responses to treatments, adjusting procedures as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Execute emergency interventions and trauma protocols in Level 1 Trauma situations, demonstrating expertise in critical care.
  • Maintain equipment, prepare supplies, and adhere to infection control standards to ensure optimal patient‑care conditions.
