JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide and maintain the highest standards of customer service and create a feeling of rest and relaxation for guests, resulting in high retention and increased treatment and retail sales for the Mandara Resort Division.
- Check in guests, give guest orientation, and ensure all linen towels and beverages are clean, prepared and well stocked.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | FEMALE LOCKER ROOM & LOUNGE:
- Maintain a clean, sterilized spa environment.
- Maintain the stockroom and clean and organize back of house.
- Report shortages of inventory related to spa attendant position (laundry, cleaning, etc.) to avoid interruption of service.
- Launder towels, linens and bathrobes to keep stock ready for guests. Empty garbage as required.
- Conduct spa walkthroughs ensuring common areas, locker rooms and treatment rooms are properly cleaned.
- Perform minor repairs (e.g., change light bulbs) and submit maintenance requests as issues arise.
- Replenish stock levels (robes, sandals, towels, paper products, product dispensers, and lounge buffet).
- Check-in spa deliveries and verify deliveries against packing slips.
Spa Operations:
- Communicate effectively with service providers, guests, managers and colleagues.
- Proactively and creatively solve problems identified while the guest is in the spa.
- Be aware of all targets and incentives.
- Exemplary client care, guest service and attention to detail.
- Ability to empathize with clients.
- Sell motivated with a can-do attitude and strong communication and organizational skills.
- Tactful, mature and able to get along with diverse personalities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to update product and service knowledge through ongoing training.
- Flexible schedule and cooperative attitude.
Spa and normal retail environment with minimal exposure to dust, noise, etc. May be required to work overtime, evenings and weekends. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
CompensationStarting base hourly rate of $15.50, with annual increases based on tenure. Incentive compensation programs yielding an average of $0.40 per hour (based on past year for this role). Individual performance varies and could exceed location average.
