The Role

We are seeking an experienced, customer‑service focused valet supervisor at The Cherokee Hotel at Harrah's in Cherokee, NC. We provide a first‑class valet parking service and seek friendly, outgoing individuals with a desire to create a guest experience that exceeds all expectations.

Hours and shifts may vary due to business need.

Valet Supervisor Duties
  • Guide the team’s interactions with guests and fellow employees by being a positive role model.
  • Provide oversight to operation through demonstrated competence in guest services, parking strategy and proper reporting.
  • Ensure the team has the tools needed to perform respective duties and share communications through pass‑along logs.
  • Work collaboratively with the valet team to ensure prompt service for every guest.
  • Train and develop staff as needed to ensure top‑level service and hospitality.
  • Ensure that appropriate service‑recovery measures are followed to ensure guest satisfaction with our services and associates.
  • Perform ancillary duties as directed.
  • Maintain professional appearance of yourself, your team and work area while on duty.
  • Give constructive feedback to employees when needed.
  • Lead by example in attitude, attendance, punctuality and willingness to do whatever it takes to make the team successful.
  • Be able to multi‑task and prioritize duties.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Six months leadership experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Candidate must submit to and pass a pre‑employment drug screen – oral
  • Candidate must submit and pass a gaming work permit application
