We are seeking a professional Human Resources (HR) Technician III with strong skills in recruitment, onboarding, and customer service. This role ensures a smooth candidate experience, from sourcing talent for agency customers to initiating hires in Workday. The ideal candidate will be proactive in talent sourcing, engaging with candidates, and addressing current and future hiring needs.
The HR Technician III is responsible for sourcing talent from various channels to fill temporary vacancies for agency customers. They will collaborate with agency clients to define hiring needs and establish timelines for onboarding candidates. Additionally, this role involves maintaining accurate candidate and hiring data within Workday while ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Key Responsibilities for This Role- Source quality talent from various channels, including Linked In Recruiter, Workday, job boards, networking, and referrals.
- Initiate hires in Workday promptly by supporting onboarding processes, including preparing offer letters and new hire documentation.
- Post and screen positions in Workday to assess candidates’ qualifications and experiences.
- Partner with the Temporary Solutions Recruitment team on recruitment initiatives for agency customers.
- Process job orders promptly and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Conduct initial outreach and candidate engagement.
- Provide consultation to agency customers regarding submitted job orders, including salary administration, classification, and compensation reviews.
- Attend career events.
- Maintain the electronic personnel file database in SharePoint.
- Review personnel data in the IHRPS to ensure accuracy of hiring action and compliance with hire dates.
This position is part of a bi-weekly payroll operation serving over 4,000 temporary employees, requiring reliability and efficiency in all tasks performed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities/Management Preferences- Experience with onboarding in an Applicant Tracking System.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of federal and state laws, as well as state policies, procedures, and practices.
- Strong skills in multitasking, communication, and customer service.
- Understanding labor market trends and best practices in sourcing talent.
- Proven experience operating autonomously in a dynamic, deadline-oriented setting.
- Must have a valid NC driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Associate’s degree, typically in Human Resources or relevant field from an appropriately accredited institution and 2 years of experience required; or 3 years of progressive experience in Human Resources; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
