You will provide Small
HD customers after‑purchase repair support extending to hardware, firmware, software and services developed by Small
HD. You will use tools and technology to diagnose issues, make recommendations for repair or replacement and test any new parts that are installed.
- Accurately and efficiently diagnosing and repairing Small
HD products down to the component level. - Troubleshooting issues and communicating effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure effective repair processes.
- Prioritizing multiple concurrent repair tasks and adapting to different scenarios to ensure timely and efficient product repair.
- Collaborating with other technicians and departments to identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of product repairs and customer interactions to ensure effective communication with internal teams and customers.
- Adhering to all safety and quality standards and procedures to ensure product safety and reliability.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in electronic assembly, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Ability to read schematics and understand advanced electrical principles.
- Detail‑oriented with good communication skills.
- A collaborative, team player approach to solving problems.
- Ability and willingness to learn new processes.
- Experience with CRM and ERP software preferred (Sales Force & xTuple knowledge is a plus).
- This position is based in the Cary, NC office.
- Reporting to Service Program Manager.
- This position is full time.
