Senior Associate Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Associate Business Intelligence Analyst with 340B data experience and strong skills in SQL, SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools.

• Produce and transmit recurring reports for clients, including 340B third‑party administrators.
• Partner with Business Development, Implementation, and Development for data reporting creation and modification.
• Support execution of core analytics and develop new analytics, reporting, and visualization to answer emerging questions.
• Provide reconciliation of any data issues that arise from gaps in quality checks.
• Write queries for internal ad hoc data requests.
• Leverage new and emerging technologies – including AI – to automate data analysis, reporting, and quality assurance tasks, improving efficiency, accuracy, and value for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with data production for presentations to clients and prospective clients.
• Understand the landscape of available data and sources.
• Ensure data alignment with internal systems.
• Take lead roles in large, complex, or cross‑functional projects, managing the Market and Business Intelligence team’s role in concert with other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with, develop, and train less skilled or experienced teammates on technical or operational issues to deliver quality work on time.
• Engage with clients on highly complex or escalated requests.
• Develop and write documentation for departmental processes.
• Drive innovation by searching for and evaluating new tools, processes, and ways of thinking about data.
• Translate business questions using an analytics framework, determining the appropriate analytics plan and recommendations from analysis.
• Understand logic behind standard reporting with the ability to recreate, modify, and implement new reporting as required.
• Partner with internal team members to deliver on projects as needed.

• Degree or equivalent; 2+ years of relevant experience.

• 4‑year degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Analytics, or Health Care related field.

• 2+ years experience in data analysis.
• Efficient with SQL query tools, thorough understanding of SQL methods to query various size data sets.
• Fluency with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SSRS.
• 2+ years of healthcare experience preferred.
• 340B data experience or understanding preferred.
• SQL and Power BI knowledge required.
• Python or similar scripting exposure preferred.
• Demonstrated interest in and experience with AI, machine learning, or automation tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Python AI libraries) is strongly preferred.

• Comfortable experimenting with and adopting AI solutions to solve business problems and improve workflows.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively prioritize competing projects.
• Highly collaborative individual capable of navigating a matrixed environment.
• Proactively and independently learns and utilizes new technology, concepts, and procedures as appropriate to project requirements while maintaining current knowledge of industry technology trends.
• Experience working in a virtual team‑based environment.
• Flexible positive attitude: hungry to solve problems and grow within the organization.
• Able to communicate key findings from data in a concise and actionable manner (written, presentational, and verbally).

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base pay range of $68,800 – $114,600. In addition to base pay, other compensation may include an annual bonus or long‑term incentive opportunities. The pay range shown is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy and will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
