Mainframe Developer

Data Staff, Inc is seeking a Mainframe Technical Analyst or a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in Raleigh, NC.

* This position is hybrid.

Our client is seeking a Technical Specialist who will serve as a mainframe expert. The ideal candidate should have mainframe skills, including CICS, DB2, Elixir, Endevor, IMS, and JCL. Additional skills in middleware and MQ are beneficial.

• The ability to evaluate complex SQL queries and recommend suggestions for better software performance and cost savings
• The ability to provide CICS administration, problem-solving and debugging support, interfacing with application developers as well as DIT personnel

• 7 Years
  - Knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality
• 7 Years
  - Experience providing configuration management/release management support and guidance for Endevor software
• 7 Years
  - Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques
• 7 years
  - Knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2
• 7 Years
  - Ability to evaluate complex SQL queries
