Cloud Computing: Infrastructure & Operations, Systems Engineer
Overview
Infrastructure Specialists at Kyndryl are project‑based subject matter experts in all aspects of IT infrastructure. They analyze problems, design solutions, test and modify systems, and support long‑range strategic IT planning.
Responsibilities- Contribute to current projects by analyzing problems and technical issues, offering solutions, and testing, modifying, automating, and integrating systems.
- Participate in long‑range strategic planning of IT infrastructure and operational execution.
- Collaborate with Architects, Technicians, and PMs throughout the life cycle of a project.
- Identify technical and timeline risks early and manage client expectations.
Required Technical and Professional Experience
- Must pass FBI, BCI, and drug testing.
- Deep expertise in a technology domain such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
- Enterprise IT application experience (e.g., Service Now).
- Hands‑on experience in at least one of: software development, Dev Ops engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture in public cloud AWS.
- In‑depth knowledge of Service Now administration and call center operation.
- Strong process improvement experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to apply general rules to specific problems.
- Occasional second shift, on‑call, weekend work.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- In‑depth knowledge of Service Now ITSM module.
- Exceptional judgment and decision‑making abilities.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals for technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Logic and reasoning to evaluate solutions and approaches.

The compensation range for this position in the US is $100,080 to $190,080 based on a full‑time schedule. Role is eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program. Pay will not fall below applicable minimum wage requirements.
