What this Job Entails

The Project & Program Management role is responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of large‑scale Data Center builds and retrofits from initiation to delivery, including multiple unprecedented/pioneering AI implementations in terms of both scale and design. The role coordinates work performed by network engineers, data center technicians, and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. It develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes, including asset management, resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control, documentation, training, and on‑time delivery within budget constraints.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manages multiple, cross‑functional and technical network deployment projects.
  • Partners with functional teams during initiation, planning, design, procurement, deployment, and post‑deployment phases.
  • Manages and tracks program milestones, timelines, and overall deliverables.
  • Handles asset and material management across data centers and warehouses.
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, reviews, process documents, and risk analysis.
  • Defines project scope and objectives with all stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Drives project lifecycle milestones from concept to closure and advocates change management.
  • Uses metrics and KPIs to measure project performance, providing regular status updates.
  • Improves internal processes by removing gaps across multiple teams and functions.
  • Identifies, tracks, and mitigates risks through risk analysis and management techniques.
  • Acts as a point of contact for vendor partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinates and facilitates regularly scheduled meetings with core teams.
  • Evaluates post‑project results against metrics, recommending or implementing changes to improve delivery practices and processes.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Required Qualifications /Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) and 2‑5 years of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
  • 2‑5 years of project‑management experience in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment, preferably supporting data centers or network hardware.
  • 2+ years of experience with data center life cycles and/or large‑scale networks.
  • Builds productive internal and external working relationships.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Understands project‑management teams, resolves conflict, and meets schedule timelines.
  • Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Can work on multiple projects and assignments concurrently.
  • Is a self‑starter who quickly learns new tools, processes, and technologies with minimal assistance.
  • Experiences creating spreadsheets, presentation material, and project/process documentation.
  • Possesses strong observational and analytical skills, including the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information, with strong attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to track and report metrics and manage risks.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders and communicates project updates to client executives.
  • Is willing to work across multiple North American time zones (remotely or from the local client office).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PPM, CPD, CPMP, etc.
  • Understanding of the OSI model.
  • Familiarity with various project‑management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of change‑management practices.
Physical Demand & Work Environment

Must have the ability to perform office‑related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing, move from place to place within an office environment, use a computer, and communicate effectively. Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Salary Range

$92,880.00 – $ USD (base pay only)
