Integration Lab Manager – Pope Army Airfield, Fort Bragg, NC
Position:
Integration Lab Manager.

- Coordinate and oversee integration activities involving hardware, software, network, cloud, cybersecurity, and communications technologies to ensure operational readiness and interoperability.
- Manage laboratory resources, equipment, test assets, configurations, and schedules to support customer priorities and program objectives.
- Direct laboratory personnel supporting systems engineering, integration, test and evaluation, cybersecurity, and technical support functions.
- Support the integration, testing, troubleshooting, and verification of mission systems, sensors, communications systems, and enterprise technologies prior to operational deployment.
- Coordinate with Government stakeholders, engineering teams, developers, vendors, and OEM partners to support system development, integration, and testing requirements.
- Develop and maintain laboratory test plans, procedures, test events, configuration baselines, and technical documentation.
- Ensure laboratory activities comply with approved engineering processes, configuration management requirements, cybersecurity policies, and quality standards.
- Support system verification, validation, interoperability testing, regression testing, and operational acceptance activities.
- Identify technical issues, integration challenges, and performance deficiencies and lead troubleshooting and corrective action efforts.
- Coordinate installation, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle replacement of laboratory hardware, software, networking equipment, and supporting infrastructure.
- Support cybersecurity compliance activities including vulnerability management, STIG implementation, security testing, and RMF-related requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, laboratory status updates, test results, risk assessments, and customer briefings.
- Support fielding efforts, customer demonstrations, technology evaluations, and operational assessments.
- Coordinate laboratory support for engineering changes, modernization initiatives, technology refresh efforts, and new capability integration.
- Maintain awareness of customer mission priorities, emerging technologies, and operational requirements to ensure laboratory capabilities remain aligned with mission needs.
- Support occasional travel requirements, site visits, transition activities, and field assessments as required.
- Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
- Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements,

. - Candidates must meet the qualification requirements of DoDM 8140.03 for the DCWF 441 Network Operations Specialist (Intermediate) work role through an approved qualification pathway (Education, DoD Military/Training, Certification, or a combination thereof), as defined by the applicable contract.
- Qualification Pathways (One or More May Apply):
- Education (OR)
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related technical field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- DoD/Military Training (OR)
- Certification (OR)
- DoD-approved 8140-aligned certification for DCWF 441 (Intermediate), such as:
Security+, CEH, Cloud+, GCIH, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, or other equivalent DoD-recognized certifications aligned to the work role. - Ability to travel worldwide, including to remote or austere locations. Individual trips may extend up to two months, with the possibility of multiple trips per year.
- Minimum 5 years of experience serving as a Team Lead, Site Lead, Task Lead, Project Lead, Deputy Project Manager, or similar supervisory role.
- Minimum 8 years of experience supporting systems integration, engineering, testing, validation, C5
ISR, enterprise IT, communications, cybersecurity, or related technical environments. - Minimum 3 years of experience leading technical teams, laboratories, engineering organizations, integration efforts, or test activities.
- Experience supporting Systems Integration Laboratories (SIL), integration test environments, engineering test beds, or operational testing activities.
- Experience integrating hardware, software, network, cloud, communications, cybersecurity, and mission system technologies.
- Working knowledge of systems engineering principles, configuration management, test and evaluation methodologies, and technical documentation requirements.
- Experience supporting troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, system verification, validation, and operational acceptance testing.
- Familiarity with DoD engineering, integration, cybersecurity, and acquisition environments.
- Strong organizational, leadership, customer engagement, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel worldwide, including support to remote or austere operational locations as required.
