This is for a Junior Level Architect need with overall 1 to 5 yrs. max Architect experience. Candidate will support Corporate Systems Architecture Role Value Proposition:
Client is seeking an Solution Architect to join its Enterprise Architecture team supporting our corporate systems. The Architect will work closely with the director of the group and will be responsible for delivering solution designs and driving architecture strategy across the organization. This role will be focused on enabling architectural strategies across the domains of Corporate Systems such as HR, Finance, Actuarial, Treasury, IT Service Management, Quality Assurance Technologies and IT Development Tooling.

• Assist teams acquire new technologies by navigating the Enterprise Architecture Governance process
• Create conceptual and/or high level solution designs for a given domain
• Maintain big picture architecture focus while working on individual projects and solution architectures

Required:

• Bachelor's degree required, major in an Engineering discipline or related technical field strongly preferred
• 1+ years IT experience in application development, architecture or engineering domain
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solution design and implementation
• Development experience with modern languages and frameworks

Preferred:

• Applied use of various full stack programming languages and frameworks (Java,.NET, Angular, etc)
• Applied use of big data architectures is highly desirable including experience with at least one of the following: RDBMS, No
  
  SQL, Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Data Virtualization
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns (ETL, API, MFT) and technologies such as Informatica, IBM API connect, etc.
• Knowledge of security architecture patterns and technologies
• Knowledge of cloud concepts such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, ideally with a major cloud provider
• Knowledge of Dev Ops automation across end to end delivery life cycle
• Knowledge of IT Service Management processes and technologies (Service Now)
