Description of Work

This position is assigned to the Office of Staff and Training (OSDT) Central Region Training Center located in Apex, North Carolina in Wake County

Provides support for the daily administration, maintenance, and end user support of the NC Learning Center. This role oversees user accounts, instructor-led training, reporting, and system configuration while providing technical support, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting agency-wide learning initiatives.

Manage and maintain SharePoint sites, provide user support, administer permissions, and site pages, perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting, and collaborate with teams to support business processes and document management.

Provide technical and systems administration support for Office of Staff Development Training (OSDT) employees, including building security software, NCID account management, VPN requests, and OPUS Site Security in collaboration with IT and facility/vendor partners. Provide technical support for classroom technology and audiovisual equipment, troubleshoot issues, maintain instructional technology, and assist faculty to ensure reliable classroom operations.

The following Management Preferences are not required, but applicants that possess these skills are preferred:

  • Learning admin experience with NC Learning Center (Cornerstone OnDemand Learning Management System)
  • ADT Pro Watch security server application/system administrator experience
  • OPUS Site Security experience
  • SharePoint site administrator experience

Salary Range: $ 65,607 - $ 98,412

The Office of Staff Development and Training (OSDT) is the cornerstone of training for the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction workforce.
