Business Development Lead - Mainframe Infrastructure
Location: USA (Any HCLTech Office Location)
Experience: 15+ Years
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, qualify, and develop Mainframe infrastructure service opportunities.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline while partnering with sales and account teams.
Lead technical discussions and serve as the trusted advisor throughout the sales lifecycle.
Develop compelling solution proposals, technical presentations, SOWs, and service offerings.
Manage strategic relationships with IBM, BMC, Broadcom, and other Mainframe ecosystem partners.
Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition and expansion opportunities.
Support RFI/RFP responses and solution development for large-scale Mainframe transformation engagements.
Provide thought leadership around Mainframe modernization, infrastructure services, and enterprise architecture.
Required Skills10+ years of Mainframe Infrastructure experience
Strong expertise in IBM z/OS, CICS, DB2, IMS, Mainframe Security, Middleware, and Job Schedulers
Hands-on experience in Mainframe System Programming and Enterprise Mainframe Architecture
Deep understanding of Mainframe licensing, pricing, and OEM ecosystems (IBM, BMC, Broadcom)
Experience with solutioning, technical sales, pre-sales, and customer presentations
Knowledge of SLA-driven managed services, RFI/RFP processes, and IT services engagements
Ability to engage with technical teams, business stakeholders, and C-level executives
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
