** Role Summary
** The
** Business Intelligence & Insights Analyst
** transforms data into actionable business insights that support transformational growth and customer experience within Caterpillar’s Building Construction Products division. This role develops analytical solutions, reporting, and geospatial intelligence to help stakeholders make informed decisions while driving adoption of business intelligence tools and data-driven practices across the organization.
** What You Will Do (Job Duties):**
* ** Generate actionable business insights
** through analysis of retail, dealer, customer, and operational performance data to support strategic decision-making and growth initiatives
* ** Develop, maintain, and enhance business intelligence solutions**, including Power BI dashboards, scorecards, reporting tools, and performance metrics that improve visibility and accountability across the organization.
* ** Conduct geospatial and market opportunity analysis
** to identify growth opportunities, optimize market coverage, support facility planning, and inform dealer network strategies
* ** Partner with business stakeholders to define analytical requirements**, translate business needs into data solutions, and communicate findings through clear, actionable recommendations
* ** Drive analytics adoption and user enablement
** by providing training, support, documentation, and best practices that increase utilization of reporting and analytical tools.
* ** Support cross-functional transformation initiatives
** through data analysis, measurement frameworks, process improvement, and automation efforts that increase organizational efficiency and scalability
